An Introduction
Hello! I am a relatively new fiber artist (started learning crochet in February 2026) and it feels like I'll be in practice mode for at least a couple of years. As I've been figuring out how different fibers, yarn weights, and stitch patterns affect the resulting fabric and its structure, I've found myself wanting a place to keep my thoughts as I learn. A place I can look back at to remember what did or didn't work for me. This is where I've decided that place should be. I've chosen a public internet blog instead of something private because I figure there's an off chance that someone other than myself might end up finding something I said useful. For now though, I'm going to assume it's just me. If you are someone else and you're reading this right now... (I'm nervous) welcome! Call me Sam.
